Music

Music is my oldest art form. While I've worked intimately with synthesizers and electronic music for decades, the muse has recently called me back to the piano, guitar, songcraft and pop-rock oriented production as well.

I Want to Spend Christmas with You

My production of the new romantic Christmas ballad I wrote and produced, featuring awesome crooner Michael Civisca.

Suitcase of Dreams

I was inspired to write this song by a last-minute industry call for a positive road song for placement in a movie. My production is in a singer-songwriter style with a bit of country-road dust on the boots. I play and sing all the parts. Copyright © 2018 Jeff Burger. Published by Namaste Ranch Publishing. Lean on Me

This song is dedicated to survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault. Sadly/outrageously 1 in 4 women is sexually abused—a full-blown epidemic that has been going on pretty much forever. Together we can heal and end it. I'm honored that this the official song of the "Women Emerging: Reclaiming Our Souls from Sexual Abuse" Supersummit. https://womenemergingsummit.org

Written, performed and produced by Jeff Burger (ASCAP).

In the Streets of Charlottesville - Music Video

We lived in the Charlottesville, VA area during the Unite the Right violence. Afterward, I wrote this song to honor how the community overwhelmingly embraced love, hope and unity in the face of hate. The people of Charlottesville provided a moral compass to navigate the divisiveness and violence that continues to tear at our whole nation. I wrote, performed, produced and edited the music and video. I released under Beliefs Project, the non-profit I co-founded with my wife, Misa Hopkins, dedicated to transforming beliefs that divide and destroy into those that heal and unify.

Dawn's Embrace (Mohanji Birthday Version) - Solo Piano

I wrote this song around 2002 during a solo piano composition period, but was never happy with the recording I made at the time. I was inspired to rerecord it in honor of the birthday of Brahmarishi Mohanji—one of the great spiritual presences currently on the planet—with whom I have been blessed to spend personal time with on several occasions. This new version features my beloved rebuilt 1917 Steinway B as well as... the songbirds of rural lakeside Virginia! Thank you and Happy Birthday, Mohanji!
